KRWG-TV's New Weekly Magazine Show About NMSU!

Saturdays at 5pm Sundays at Noon

Program 25: What do African art and journalism have in common? At NMSU, a lot. In this program, you will enjoy NMSU's latest art exhibit featuring works from central Africa, all collected by the late Dr. Steve Pasternack, an NMSU journalism professor who helped the nation of Rwanda build its first university-level journalism program in the aftermath of the genocide in that country in 1994. In segment two, it's your turn to weigh in on a proposed hike in the local sales tax to help build a commercial spaceport 45 miles north of Las Cruces. The election in Dona Ana, Sierra and Otero counties is April 3. We show you plans for the spaceport, and talk with two NMSU experts who are have worked for years on the project.
