KRWG-TV's New Weekly Magazine Show About NMSU!
Saturdays at 5pm Sundays at Noon
Program 33
It takes a trained eye and plenty of experience to judge the perfect potted plant or cut flowers. And students at NMSU are getting expert training in the field of floriculture. In this week’s show, we take you to a workshop where students are preparing to compete in a national contest in judging potted plants and flowers, and in making floral arrangements. In segment two, a university expert gives us an update on the controversial “No Child Left Behind” law. This year, the act is up for possible re-authorization, and many in Congress want to see changes in the law.
