More High School Students Taking College Courses

Las Cruces, NM – More local high school students are taking college classes ..

Las Cruces Public School students who meet admission criteria now have the choice of taking classes with New Mexico State University or Dona Ana Community College while still in high school.

The dual credit program has seen considerable growth during the past few years.

From last fall to this spring .16 percent growth at the community college .and a 64 percent increase at NMSU.
