Governor Richardson in Las Cruces to Announce "Gun Owners for Harry"

Las Cruces, NM – Tuesday Governor Bill Richardson along with Democratic 2nd Congressional District candidate Harry Teague were in Las Cruces to announce the formation of "Gun Owners for Harry", a committee made up of New Mexico gun owners who support Teague's campaign. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, the event was an effort to show Teague as a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment.

Las Cruces, NM – Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius rallied for Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama yesterday in the Mesilla plaza. Cowboys for Cancer Round Up Funds

Las Cruces, NM – Cowboys for Cancer Research, a local non-profit organization has worked to raise awareness about cancer. The group's first annual event was held in 1982 since then the group has used team-roping competitions to raise money for research. This year, Cowboys for Cancer Research annual event is scheduled for October 10th through the 12th. The 3-day event includes team roping competitions and the Boots and Bling dinner and dance.
