City and County to Hold Special Meetings About Animal Shelter Tuesday

Las Cruces, NM – The Dona Ana County Board of Commissioners and the Las Cruces City Council will each hold special meetings today to consider signing a Memorandum of Agreement, or MOA to take over the funding and operations at the Dona Ana County Animal Shelter. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, the shelter was previously run by the Dona Ana County Humane Society who told the city and county it would no longer operate the shelter after January.
