Congress Attempts to Pass Several Spending Bills

Las Cruces, NM – This week in Washington, President Bush signed a close to five hundred billion dollar Defense Appropriations Bill that among other things sets aside millions of dollars to fund National Guard activities in New Mexico including Operation Jumpstart which stations guard troops along the border. KRWG's Marco Grajeda has this report.
