Environment Department Issues Violation for Unpermitted Septic System in Las Cruces

Las Cruces, NM – On Friday the New Mexico Environment Department issued a notice of violation to Ted Scanlon, owner of the Dove Crossing sub-division in Las Cruces - for violating state environmental laws by discharging sewage into an unpermitted septic system. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, Scanlon says he was unaware of the notice, but wants to work out the problem with the Environment Department.
