Mujeres Meet for 2009 MALCS Institute

Las Cruces, NM – Close to three hundred women arrived at New Mexico State University this week to participate in 2009 MALCS Summer Institute which stands for Mujeres Activas en Letras y Cambio Social - or - Women Active in Letters and Social Change. The academic group of Chicana, Latina, Indigenous Native and Tribal Women, and their allies, were excited about sharing their life experiences and learning from others.
