NMSU Science Event

Las Cruces – Learning about science can be intimidating for some people.
But a a program tomorrow Wednesday night at New Mexico State University is designed to change that.
It's an evening about atom smashing, the Big Bang and black holes at a level that high school students and the general public can understand.
The New Mexico State University Department of Physics is hosting an evening series for the spring semester to reach out to anyone with an interest in science.
NMSU physics professor Gary Kyle is the first scheduled speaker in the series .Wednesday night.
Kyle's talk "Doing Astrophysics in the Laboratory" will address a form
of physics some might call experimental cosmology, his area of research for more than 13 years.
The presentation will be held Wednesday night at 7 at the NMSU Corbett Center Auditorium.
