State's Lone Biodiesel Plant Pumping in Anthony

Las Cruces, NM – Earlier this year New Mexico Legislators passed The Biodiesel Standards Act , which requires that all diesel fuel sold in the state to contain at least five percent biodiesel by the middle of 2012. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, the states only commercial biodiesel production facility is located in Anthony; through their business, Rio Valley Biofuels hopes to have a positive effect on the environment, and the local economy.
