States Send National Guard Troops to NM Border

Las Cruces, NM – In May, President Bush announced a border security plan dubbed Operation Jumpstart. It includes stationing National Guard troops along the U.S. - Mexico border. National Guard troops from across the nation are now assisting Border Patrol officers along New Mexico's international border.
