March 22, 2013 – Las Cruces, NM - On this edition of PUENTES, Emily Guerra bridges the community with Program Operations Director for New Mexico State University’s Southern Area Health Education Center (SoAHEC), Beatriz Favela; and Senior Program Specialist for the Department of Public Health Sciences, and SoAHEC, Bob Nosbisch, with an outlook at the future of health careers.

March 15, 2013 – Las Cruces, NM - On this edition of PUENTES, Emily Guerra bridges the community with Mesilla Valley Hospital Referral Development Manager and The Jason Foundation, Inc. (JFI) Representative, Jeanne Resendez. She works with teachers and organizations to teach parents and educators about suicide awareness and prevention trough JFI programs.

March 1, 2013 – Las Cruces, NM - On this edition of PUENTES, Emily Guerra bridges the community with Southwest Senior Monthly Owner and Publisher, Keith Whelpley, and with Southwest Senior Monthly Marketing Director, Stan Blitz. They will tell us about concerns and services for seniors in our area, and about southern New Mexico’s largest senior lifestyle show.

February 15, 2013 – Las Cruces, NM - On this edition of PUENTES, Emily Guerra bridges the community with Network Volunteer Center Volunteer Coordinator, Genevieve Kirk, and RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) Volunteer at the Munson Senior Center, Allan Daily. They have both served in the Peace Corps and will tell us about the importance of volunteering, opportunities and the commitment to serve in our communities.

February 8, 2013 – Las Cruces, NM - On this edition of PUENTES, Emily Guerra bridges the community with three times Native American Music Award Winner, recording artist, composer and drum maker, Yolanda Martinez. She has been making drums since 1987 and made her first recording in 1992. Carlsbad native, Martinez received her first NAMMY, The Grammy for The Native American Music Industry, in 2005 as Best Female Artist. Her music consists of drumming and chanting, contemporary Native American, country, Latin and folk recordings.

Las Cruces, NM  – February 1, 2013 – On this edition of PUENTES, Emily Guerra bridges the community with Performer and Educational Consultant, Rosa Guerrero, from El Paso, Texas bridging the community as an artist, educator, dance historian, and humanitarian. In 1970 she established El Paso’s first ballet folklorico group, The Rosa Guerrero International Folklorico Dance Group.
