March 8, 2012 - On this edition of PUENTES, Emily Guerra bridges the community with regional photographer and journalist, Diana Molina and her new contemporary collection of art and photographs.  Molina was invited by Deming Arts Center Board Member, Judy Welch, to display her exhibit entitled “Symbols and Icons of New Mexico”  through the month of March.

March 5, 2012 - On this edition of PUENTES, Emily Guerra bridges the community with Maury Castro, President of La Alianza Para Emigrantes Mexicanos en Busca de Asilo Politico (Alliance for Political Asylum Seekers) and Member, Charlotte Lipson, with a newly formed local nonprofit organization. Their purpose is to help provide a better life for individuals that live in our community  who are seeking political asylum in the United States by providing economic, cultural and educational assistance.

February 3, 2012 – Emily Guerra bridges the community on this edition of PUENTES with 1970's Dona Ana County Commissioner and Retired Dona Ana Community College Construction Program Educator, Manuel M. Leyva. His family has been in the community for over a century. Leyva served in the Army during the Korean War, and has been married to local resident, Lupe Reyes Leyva for 53 years. On this segment Leyva shares his experiences about pecan farming. Part One-pecans.
