GO Bond to Benefit NMSU

Tax Payments Online

Las Cruces, NM – Grant County residents who have to pay their property taxes can avoid long lines and save gas by visiting the county's website.

County officials recently signed a contract with Point and Pay an electronic payment company. According to the County Treasurer's office, taxpayers will need an owner ID number, a credit or debit card and their checking account information when paying online or on the phone.

NM CD2 Candidates to Discuss Issues During Town Hall Forum

Las Cruces, NM – Tomorrow afternoon, New Mexico's Congressional District Two candidates will meet in Las Cruces for a town hall forum.

Republican Ed Tinsley and Democrat Harry Teague are vying for the seat being vacated by U.S. Representative Steve Pearce.

Voters in the state's Second Congressional District will develop questions during a half-day town hall meeting. Then the two candidates will answer the questions during a one hour discussion.

Exhibit Showcases Green Products

Las Cruces, NM – A number of builders, vendors and suppliers will converge this week during a green build exhibit in Las Cruces. The three-day event will showcase a number of environmentally friendly services and products, such as solar panels, energy efficient appliances and recycled construction waste. Udall Leading in Senate Race

Las Cruces, NM – Democratic United State Senate Candidate Tom Udall received some good news this week. On Sunday he was endorsed by the Santa Fe New Mexican, then a new poll released by the Albuquerque Journal on Monday showed Udall with a big lead over his Republican opponent, Congressman Steve Pearce. NRA Endorses NM Congressional Candidate Ed Tinsley

Las Cruces, NM – The National Rifle Association has endorsed New Mexico congressional candidate Ed Tinsley.

Tinsley is vying for the seat being vacated by Congressman Steve Pearce, who is running for the U.S. Senate. The Republican candidate is running against Hobbs businessman Harry Teague.

The National Rifle Association awarded Tinsley an A rating, which means the candidate is solidly pro-gun. The A rating is usually reserved for incumbents.
